Garden Club
Carrington’s long established garden club offers the garden-lover regular meetings, guest speakers and organised social outings to local and botanical gardens. The Club meets regularly and is a great way to socialise with others interested in gardening.
Men's Club
Carrington’s Men’s Club offers our gentlemen friendships, support, activities during happy hour and special event nights. The Club meets regularly and is a great way to socialise with others.
Art's & Crafts Groups
Art classes are offered on-site at our dedicated art and craft space in our Recreation and Leisure Club. Art exhibitions are held in November and art is also displayed and offered for sale annually at the Carrington Fair.
Woodwork
“The Woodies” offers our gentlemen friendship and an opportunity to participate in woodworking activities. The Club meets regularly and is a great way to socialise with others. Some level of proficiency is expected, but other experienced residents give support and training in the use of machines provided. The group sells their woodwork at fair days and special events.
Day Trips
A variety of day trips and outings are organised by our Independent Living Social Club.
Events are offered regularly and range from theatre outings, local shows, restaurants and sight-seeing bus trips to special destinations such as botanical gardens and Kiama Blow Hole.
