Carrington’s Executive Team is responsible for the organisation’s leadership and operational oversight. Their focus is on delivering safe, high-quality services, supporting staff and residents, and ensuring we remain responsive to the evolving needs of our community.

With experience spanning clinical care, pastoral care, community services, finance, property, organisational leadership, and quality, risk, and assurance, the Executive Team works collaboratively to uphold our values and long-term vision.

Ruth ensures our policies align with the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.

Carrington’s Board of Directors is responsible for the organisation's overall governance and strategic direction.

The Board works closely with the Executive Team to:

Oversee organisational performance
Ensure strong clinical governance and risk management
Support financial sustainability and long-term planning

Through this governance framework, the Board helps ensure Carrington remains accountable, transparent, and focused on delivering care that meets the highest standards.

Alek Jankowski

Alek serves as Chairman of the Board and contributes to Carrington’s governance through the Finance, Resources and Infrastructure Committee, the Audit and Risk Committee, and the Clinical Governance Committee.

Bruce Hanrahan AM

Deputy Chairman | Company Director

(Commenced November 2003)

Bruce is Deputy Chairman of the Board and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. He also serves on the Finance, Resources and Infrastructure Committee and the Clinical Governance Committee.

Karen Kavanagh

Company Director

Karen Chairs the Finance, Resources and Infrastructure Committee and also serves on the Audit and Risk Committee, supporting strong oversight and long-term planning.

Anna Williams

Company Director

Anna serves as Chair of the Clinical Governance Committee, helping guide quality, safety, and best-practice oversight across Carrington Care’s services.

Graham Pascoe

Stephen Carter
