Full-time

Registered Nurse – Residential Care

Provide clinical leadership and high-quality nursing care within our Residential Aged Care facility. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive safe, person-centred care.

Part-time

Personal Care Assistant

Support residents with daily living activities while fostering dignity, independence and wellbeing in a community-focused environment.

  • Once you’ve submitted an application, be prepared to take a brief screening call to discuss the position. ​
  • During the interview we’ll be assessing your competency, so prepare to give specific examples from your experience. ​
  • The interview is a chance for you to find out more information about the role, workplace and culture, so come prepared to ask your questions also. 
  • Successful applicants can expect to receive a phone call to discuss an offer of employment verbally, followed written confirmation. ​
  • Once accepted, you will be issued an employment contract and provided with information what to expect when commencing. ​
  • Before your first day, you’ll receive your new employee profile login and setup your payroll information. ​
  • As part of your start with Carrington, you’ll attend our monthly orientation program of 1-2 days, with sessions tailored to your role. ​

How do I apply for a role?

Please follow the link to apply via the position listing, so your application goes directly to the relevant hiring manager. You will receive on-screen confirmation your application is submitted as well as an email confirmation. Your application should include a resume, and a cover letter if requested.

Some roles require qualifications and experience, while others provide training opportunities. Please refer to the individual job listing.

Most of our roles work on our Grasmere estate, while our Carrington at Home roles travel within the Macarthur region to deliver, in-home services.

When submitting your application in our careers portal, you will see a message on-screen when your application is submitted. You will also receive a confirmation email from the careers portal. 

For the Care Services Employee, Registered Nurse, Home Care Employee & Hotel Services Assistant roles, you will hear back within 2 weeks. 

For all other roles, expect to hear back within 3-5 business days.

Reference checks will be completed after the interview stage. Referees need to be from two different recent and/or relevant jobs.

All positions with Carrington Care will require an NDIS Worker Check to be completed during the recruitment process. This check is valid for 5 years for employers across Australia, so it is at the applicant’s expense. 

Positions that perform regular manual handling will have a pre-employment physical assessment completed. The majority of our non-corporate positions involve manual handling.
