Our Chief Executive Raad Richards is proud to support Leading Age Services Australia’s (LASA) federal campaign ‘I Care For Aged Care’
LASA is seeking to make aged care a major talking point in the upcoming federal election. LASA’s recent campaign launch for ‘I Care For Aged Care’ aims to highlight key issues impacting on the delivery of quality care and services for older Australians, as well as offering solutions to make the current aged care system better.
Our Chief Executive Raad Richards recently met with LASA to discuss the campaign. Raad is pictured below with Angus Taylor, Member for Hume and Minister for Energy, and Tim Hicks, LASA’s General Manager of Policy and Advocacy.
LASA’s ‘I Care For Aged Care’ campaign is hoping to have politicians address:
- the funding emergency in residential aged care
- the unacceptable impact on older Australians that sees more than 120,000 older Australians waiting, sometimes for more than year, to receive essential care and services in their own homes
