Staff from Grasmere Terrace dressed to impress for Halloween this year, with devils, witches, pumpkins, bats and even Little Red Riding Hood joining the residents at their activities throughout the day.
Hearing the reactions and laughter from the residents as they tried to figure out who was under each costume was a particular highlight.
Halloween themed activities were provided for residents in the afternoon. Some of these included pin the stalk on the pumpkin, and ping pong throwing to win prizes.
The day was rounded out with some drinks and snacks, while staff read out some funny Halloween jokes as entertainment.

Alan of Paling Court enjoys playing chess and found it hard to find someone who was interested, so Alan has taught staff how to play and now we have chess tournaments that are highly competitive and very serious. Staff have not yet succeeded to beat Alan but we are hoping there will come a day when this will happen.
