Carrington Wins Camden Council Garden Competition

The Chief Executive of Carrington, Raad Richards had great pleasure in congratulating the Grounds and Garden Team lead by Joe Galea following the announcement of once again being awarded First Place in the Camden Council Garden Competition, Professional Garden category.  “Carrington has dominated in this category over recent years”, Mr Richards said.

The Carrington Team also entered the New Garden category for the newly established gardens and grounds of the Mayfarm Precinct of the Village and were pleased to receive a Commendation.

Resident Jean Schofield received a Certificate of Encouragement for Senior Citizen Garden and resident Jean Fazekas was Runner up for Senior Citizen Garden, Runner up for Best Back Garden and also won Third Place for Most Creative Garden.  “This is a marvellous achievement and I congratulate both ladies on an outstanding result”, Mr Richards said.

Mr Richards congratulated the entire staff team Joe Galea, Chris Denny, Steve Waldock and Matt Butler for the effort and commitment in achieving this wonderful recognition. “It is this kind of excellent work and creativity being achieved by our staff for all residents, staff and visitors to enjoy every day of the week”, Mr Richards said.
